Welcome to The Cornish Vegan


Hello and welcome to The Cornish Vegan, home of delicious homemade, home-style ‘comfort’ vegan food.  We are located at 15 Kenwyn Street in Truro, Cornwall.

We are passionate about vegan food and aim to excite vegans and non-vegans alike with the quality and taste of our food. All of our ingredients are local, seasonal, organic and ethically-sourced where possible.  We make most of our food in-house, fresh daily, and also strive to make all of our own condiments and sauces, such as vegan butter, vegan mayonnaise, ketchup and more.  What we don’t make in-house we outsource to local producers, such as bread from Baker Tom’s, olives from Oliver’s Olives, baked cakes from Little Green Vegan Bakery, and raw cakes and raw pressed juices from Pura Pressed.  Our menus will be changing regularly, based on customer demand and on what is seasonal.


  • Tuesday through Saturday (10am-4pm) (Breakfast served 10am-12pm; Lunch served 12pm-4pm)
  • Closed Mondays
  • Sundays (12pm-3pm on the last Sunday of the month only, serving vegan roast dinners. Booking advised.)   Next Sunday opening will be 30th April 2017.

We also run regular theme nights offering a set dinner menu.  Please keep checking this website for updates on when the next dinner event will be held.

Our CREAM TEAS are now being served daily from 10am-4pm.  Includes 2 homemade scones served with your choice of strawberry or raspberry jam, coconut cream (or butter), and a pot of tea. (£5 for one; £9 for two).

Garden seating is available (weather permitting) and we welcome dogs anytime both inside the restaurant and in the garden.   We also offer takeaway and gift certificates.  And we’re open for private bookings. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
